Job Description
This role is a hands‑on, individual contributor opportunity within the NBCUniversal Cyber Security team, ideal for a creative, energetic marketing and communications generalist who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and execution.
You will help translate NBCU’s cyber capabilities into clear, engaging campaigns that help employees and partners understand what tools exist, when to use them, and how they protect our business, content, and data. This role requires curiosity, creativity, operational discipline, and comfort learning new tools—including AI‑enabled ones.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute integrated communications campaigns across multiple workstreams:
- Cyber Service Portfolio: Market cyber tools and services and clearly communicate how and when to engage them
- Program Initiatives: Drive awareness and adoption of cyber initiatives impacting users and application teams
- Leadership & Business Updates: Create executive‑ready content for leadership briefings and team communications
Marketing Operations & Automation
- Manage and operate HubSpot campaigns, workflows, segmentation, and reporting to support cyber communications and training
- Apply email marketing best practices to drive engagement, completion, and action
- Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize content and delivery
Creative Development
- Create compelling content across formats, including:
- Email, intranet, web, and training content
- Visual storytelling, motion/video, and micro‑learning assets
- Experiment with new formats, channels, and tools (including AI) to improve reach and effectiveness
- Maintain a consistent voice and strong visual quality aligned to NBCU brand standards
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Information Security Officers, service owners, subject matter experts, and business communicators to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Translate complex technical topics into simple, audience‑appropriate messages
- Proactively manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
Content & Platform Management
- Manage content across the Cyber intranet, training library, and communication workflows
- Continuously evaluate and improve content structure, usability, and impact
Vendors & Events
- Coordinate with third‑party vendors for creative, web, or analytics support as needed
- Support and organize virtual and in‑person cyber awareness and training events
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging communications
- Strong copywriting and copy‑editing skills
- Expertise in email marketing best practices
- 3+ years of hands‑on HubSpot experience, including campaign execution, automation, and reporting
- Strong PowerPoint skills with an eye for visual clarity and storytelling
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Comfortable driving clarity with stakeholders and escalating risks when needed
Desired Characteristics:
- Background as a MarComm generalist or “swiss army knife” who enjoys both strategy and execution
- Experience supporting IT, technology, or cybersecurity communications
- Familiarity with tools such as Vyond, Camtasia, PowerBI, PowerApps, SharePoint
- Curious, adaptable, and comfortable learning new tools and AI‑enabled technologies
- Strong design sensibility and appreciation for quality, polish, and brand consistency
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

- Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
