Job Description
As a Production Intern, you will learn the daily operations of a television news station while supporting our production and TechOps operations team. You'll have opportunities to gain practical experience with industry-standard broadcast technology and workflows.
What You'll Learn
Assist APC Directors during live newscast production and observe the coordination of live television broadcasts.
Support producers, editors, and newsroom managers in creating and preparing content for broadcast.
Learn professional media asset management, including ingesting, organizing, archiving, restoring, and managing digital media.
Gain experience with newsroom file workflows and content management systems.
Observe and collaborate with professionals across multiple departments, including Production, News, TechOps Operations, and Engineering.
Participate in special projects and other learning opportunities that provide additional exposure to broadcast operations.

Qualifications
Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Graduate degree from an accredited institution with proof of enrollment.
Sophomore standing or above (minimum 30 complete credit hours).
Available to work at least 20 hours per week.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal.
Able to work on-site in San Antonio, Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for television newscasts, media production, or broadcast technology.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
