Job Description
This position supports the Enterprise Procurement team in developing and executing enterprise‑wide sourcing strategies for the Software category. The role serves as a key liaison between Procurement, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional partners—including Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, and Governance—throughout the full procurement lifecycle. Acting as a trusted advisor, this position ensures that software sourcing decisions align with broader enterprise objectives, technology roadmaps, and commercial best practices.
You will partner closely with Comcast and Sky Procurement teams, as well as strategic business leaders across the organization, to drive global enterprise agreements, optimize commercial outcomes, and ensure consistent negotiation and vendor management practices across all regions.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Drive moderately complex deals, including leading contract and legal negotiations.
- Analyze proposals, assess risks, and deliver clear options and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide strategic insights and market intelligence to support informed decision‑making.
- Coordinate timely execution of sourcing projects across Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, Governance, and relevant business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders typically within one line of business across Comcast, NBCUniversal, or Sky, to support category and sourcing strategy.
- Manage vendor relationships and understand the broader ecosystem impacts of business decisions.
- Contribute to category strategy development and execution, including supplier management activities.
- Define processes for common situations and identify opportunities to improve the status quo.
- Maintain accurate spend, contract, and vendor data in key procurement systems.
- Conduct cost analysis and develop cost‑reduction strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify issues, propose solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement of technology products and services
- Excellent work ethic
- Solid commercial and legal acumen, ability to negotiate contracts and deep understanding of commercial models (technology and services)
- Solid knowledge in licensing negotiation for Software Category in the technology space or related experience
- Experienced data analytics capabilities, including proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and other analysis tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional relationship management skills and ability to interact at all levels of management in a mesh organization
- Professional procurement accreditation is desired but not mandatory.
This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
