Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Trade Marketing Manager. The Trade Marketing Manager will work in partnership with our internal Sales team to identify opportunities to strengthen support for our valued Travel Advisors, including the development and implementation of B2B and B2C marketing collateral and assets, media plans, and tools needed to drive sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of all marketing projects for internal Sales team including but not limited to, flyers, program booklets, itinerary guides, and event giveaways.

  • Plan and execute weekly email communications to Travel Advisor community, including A/B testing.

  • Develop and maintain powerpoint presentations for Sales team and trade events.

  • Plan and execute print and digital trade media in line with business objectives and budget.

  • Analyze and report results monthly on all trade media, providing recommendations to add/remove to improve leads and conversion.

  • Manage and execute National Account and key agency partner marketing plans and initiatives.

  • Lead on-going communications to Sales team and Travel Advisors, ensuring new promotions, offers, new itineraries and other newsworthy announcements are communicated clearly, efficiently and in a timely manner in line with overall marketing plan.

  • Manage competitive research and make recommendations on how to best leverage to improve positioning in the market.

  • Maintain and grow the Travel Advisor section of the website, ensuring all information is accurate and relevant.

  • Collaborate with Sales team on trade event needs including displays, collateral, and promo giveaways.

  • Develop solid and comprehensive project briefs that provide clear direction, content, and product information for in-house creative and production teams.

  • Identify and leverage new technologies, increasing marketing automation and efficiency of operations to focus resources on the most value-add marketing and sales activities.

  • Flawless planning and execution of all projects; ensure 100% accuracy of content as well as adherence to brand guidelines across all materials.

  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
     

 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, or related field of study

Experience

  • 5+ years marketing experience in a corporate environment or agency.
  • Cruise or travel industry experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong relationship skills are important for this role. Superb attention to detail. Must be able to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment and have strong interpersonal and team centric management skills. Flawless execution and overall quality assurance of marketing collaterals generated, including proofreading, editing and follow-up skills. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong work ethic, exceptional organization skills and strong project management to ensure deadlines are met.
