Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Support team with Design and prototype build; Matlab/Simulink, AutoCAD
  • Hardware design (PCB, wire harness, electronic systems)
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, bench testing
  • Soldering, electrical wiring, harness boards
  • AC/DC systems, Motors, electrical circuits, Oscilloscope, multimeters,
  • sub-system and main system integration
  • firmware/software development (C/C++, test scripting, version control).
  • Custom electronics, electrical/electronic/control systems, prototyping,
  • wireless communication, power conversion, machine vision, sensors/perception, motor/motion control, optics, robots/robotics/automation, controls.
  • Reading of Schematics, blueprints and technical drawings, data analysis, test
  • Team and client meetings, site testing, delivery as required
  • other job responsibilities per project requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive hands-on engineering experience
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, LabView, Proteus, AutoCAD, or equivalent
  • Programming Knowledge: Python, Jira, C/C++, C# or equivalent
  • Proven success in a multidisciplinary product design environment
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Development, and project management with team experience
  • Manual and CNC Machining (mills and lathes), 3D Printing, PCB Milling, Laser Cutting, Sanding Blasting a plus
  • Software: Microsoft Office XP, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Adobe Creative Suite CS6, SolidWorks, Eagle, Fusion 360, Google Teams
