THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN OUR BANGALORE, INDIA OFFICE AND REPORTING DIRECTLY TO THE MANAGER OF ENGINEERING.

You will be collaborating with various teams to build and support content management platforms using the latest technologies. You will work in a fast-paced agile environment delivering a high-quality product with a focus on continuous innovation.  This includes activities such as:

• Building and maintaining WordPress Sites & conducting smooth deployments bi-weekly 
• Evaluating designs, wireframes and other deliverables for deployment feasibility 
• Implementing lean, semantic, cross-browser compatible, responsive HTML5/CSS/Javascript
• Installing, testing and debugging WordPress plugins
• Maintaining WordPress Core updates and adjusting functionality 
• Conducting cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display on browsers and in mobile
• Communicating efficiently across different teams and acting as a subject matter expert for everything website-related

• Bachelor’s degree, or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of building and deploying world-class websites, with a portfolio of work 
• Keen eye for design and user experience
• Experience creating and modifying WordPress themes & Plugins
• Expert HTML & Sass/CSS skills with full understanding of web standards and responsive design techniques
• Strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems
• Basic understanding of SEO and accessibility best practices
• Understanding of CDN, caching and website speed improvement
• Basic linux skills 
• Attention to detail, ability to match designs and collaborate and communicate with designers
• Outstanding written and verbal English language communication skills
