"Montessori Education" is developing a network of establishments applying the Montessori pedagogy, sensitive to Ecology and Sustainable Development, in an environment open to international and inclusive education.  "Montessori Education" was founded by a passionate and experienced team: Stéphane Le Viet, Maxime Faguer and Mia Mazzantini.

After 11 years of existence of the École Montessori Internationale - Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris 5th, we are launching the project of opening a new Ecole Montessori Internationale which will welcome children from 2 to 6 years old. Located at 43 rue Maurice Ripoche (75014), the premises have a private access on the street and have a surface of 200m² which promises a calm and very luminous environment thanks to a glass roof. It is 150m from the Square de l'Aspirant Dunand.

The position of Club Leader (animateur périscolaire) will be to ensure all children are safe and feel secure. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic person to work in the Club of the École Montessori Internationale Montparnasse during Wednesdays and holidays.

During Wednesday Club and Holiday Club, we welcome children for a full immersion in English.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • planning and implementing daily activities within a stimulating play environment;
  • building trusting relationships with children from the ages of 3-6 years old;
  • providing daily feedback to parents;
  • maintaining high standards of care;
  • following policies and procedures in relations to safeguarding.

Qualifications

  • You have a BAFA or equivalent diploma
  • You have one of the following diplomas or equivalent

You've got:

  • Similar experience in after-school care;
  • Knowledge of child development;
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules.

In terms of skills/personality, you :

  • Enjoy working with children and know how to manage group dynamics.
  • Have natural authority and practice positive discipline.
  • Are committed to providing high quality care in a safe environment.
  • Are patient, cheerful and enthusiastic.
  • Are self-motivated and able to use their own initiative.
  • Are able to administer first aid and meet the medical needs of the children.

Informations complémentaires

  • Part-time contract: 9 hours per week (Wednesdays: 8:15am - 6:15pm) during school time + preparation + 5 weeks full-time (42.5h) during school vacations.
