Title: Tax Manager

Location: Newyorkcity NY

Type: Permanent

Job requirement:

• Preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual income tax provision, including current & deferred provision and related FIN 48 analyses.

• Oversight of tax compliance, including computing estimated federal, state and local taxes and extensions, and coordinating, reviewing and filing annual federal, state and local returns prepared by the Company’s outside tax preparers.

• Prepare, review, file and process payments for monthly, quarterly, annual State sales and use tax, property tax and other tax returns

• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including related tax footnotes and analysis of the Company’s tax accounts.

• Assist with M&A activity and providing related tax due diligence and assessment.

Required Qualification

• 7-10 years experience 

• CPA

• Experience with the internet/publishing industry 

• Strong knowledge and understanding related to GAAP (i.e., FIN 48, FAS 109, etc.); 

• Strong tax accounting/reporting experience
