Job Description
Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in the Criminal Justice Department starting August 2019. We are seeking a candidate who is prepared to teach a variety of criminal justice related courses. The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, advising at the undergraduate level, as well service and research components. The position also includes the opportunity to teach a variety of graduate-level courses. Qualifications
A PhD in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field is required. A Juris Doctorate (JD) alone is not sufficient for this position. Applicants should submit a detailed letter of application, statement of teaching philosophy, curriculum vitae, and copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
