Position Description:

This is a Temporary Seasonal Labor (TSL) position to assist staff in the daily operations within

Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park.

This position will be temporary not to exceed 1000 hours total during a 12 month period

following start date. The work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with

an unpaid 30 minute lunch. Normal days off are Saturday and Sunday.

Position is for 40 hours per week.

Job Duties:

 Mowing and weed eating

 Trimming brush along road sides and trails

 Lift and remove logs and debris in field areas and roadside gutters

 Paint exterior of buildings

 Pick up trash throughout the park

 Other duties as described

Key Skills:

 Ability to work when scheduled

 Ability to follow instructions

 Ability to work as a team or independently

 Ability to wear personal protection equipment

 Ability to work in outdoors in extreme heat, rain or cold

 Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, lift items and bend over

Qualifications

Have a valid driver’s license

Preferred to be 18 years or older
