Job Description

- Your role will be to provide excellent service and support to our instruments and customers. This includes preventive maintenance, safety repairs, installing, upgrading, and qualifying instruments such as IQ/OQ.
- You will also resolve issues through hardware and software troubleshooting. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you will communicate with customers via email and telephone to ensure resolution and follow-up.
- You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the performance data of the equipment, service records, and the stock of spare parts.
- You will work with colleagues in the wider UK sales team to ensure customer needs are met.
Qualifications
- To qualify for this role, you have an HND in Engineering or in a comparable field, as well as at least 2 years of experience in equipment support for biotech instrumentation, field service repair, fluid control systems, and system-level electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
- This role requires excellent computer networking, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with imaging or flow cytometry instruments is advantageous.
- The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and able to travel up to 80% of their working time, including occasional international travel.
- The preferred location for this role is London, however other locations can be considered as national travel is required.
