METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. The merger allowed METRO and Makro-Habib to combine resources and gain the financial strength to lead and grow in a challenging environment and to gain synergies targeted to generate value for our customers and suppliers alike. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad & Faisalabad.

• Manage sales operations to achieve assigned business objectives.

• Increase customer buying frequency and average turnover.

• Achieve sales targets and ensure the required number of customer visits.

• Activate new customers and acquire new HoReCa customers.

• Maintain and regularly update customer files.

• Develop and implement action plans for each key customer.

• Visit customers according to the planned schedule and submit the required reports to the Line Manager.

• Analyze customer forms and sales data before each visit, set sales objectives, and identify gaps between targets and actual outcomes.

• Define customer-specific objectives and develop action plans to achieve them.

• Support customer panel organization.

• Conduct at least one competitor visit and regularly monitor competitors’ activities.

Graduation with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
