Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a €31 Billion international wholesaler with operations in more than 30 countries. The store network comprises a total of 623 stores in 21 countries, of which 522 offer out-of-store delivery (OOS), and 94 dedicated depots. In 12 countries, METRO runs only the delivery business by its delivery companies (Food Service Distribution, FSD). 

HoReCa and Traders are core customer groups of METRO. The HoReCa section includes hotels, restaurants, catering companies as well as bars, cafés and canteen operators. The Traders section includes small grocery stores and kiosks. The majority of all customer groups are small and medium-sized enterprises as well as sole traders. METRO helps them manage their business challenges more effectively. 

MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide HR, Finance, IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. Job Description

At Talent & Organizational Development, we are looking for an engaged employee to support us in the development, maintenance and implementation of international development talent programs.

Your key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Supporting and coordinating the end-to-end execution of global talent development programs, ensuring smooth delivery and a high-quality participant experience.
  • Supporting the organization and delivery of development modules, including training sessions, workshops, and graduation events in online, on-site, and hybrid formats.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for talent program participants, ensuring clear, consistent communication and timely delivery of all program materials.
  • Coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including administrative support, and quality assurance of delivered services.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation, reports, and databases to support program tracking, evaluation, and decision-making proposals.
  • Working together with functional experts on the continuous development and improvement of development modules and talent journeys.
  • Driving continuous improvement of program materials, guidelines, and frameworks, while optimizing processes through standardization and efficiency enhancements to ensure scalability and global alignment.
  • Continuously updating the knowledge management database for latest versions of processes, materials, templates, and services.
  • Supporting communication and marketing of the learning portfolio within the company through creative and innovative formats, in close collaboration with the Employer Branding team.

Qualifications

  • At least 2–3 years of relevant working experience, with strong project and/or event management skills; a background or degree in Communication, Education, HR or Adult Learning is a plus
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English and ensure that your communication is not only articulate but also grounded in expertise, delivering clear value and tangible outcomes
  • You have strong communication skills and enjoy remote working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with an open communication style
  • You have excellent MS Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel, and are familiar with design tools such as Canva
  • You have advanced familiarity with AI-based tools and use them responsibly to support HR activities such as content creation, data analysis, and process optimization
  • You are detail-oriented, with strong planning and project management skills
  • You are a fast learner, adaptable to new environments, and able to respond quickly and effectively to changing requirements
  • You demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset combined with a solid general business understanding

You bring creativity, particularly in creating simple and visually appealing materials
