MorningSave is looking for Sales Associates who work well in a team environment and have a passion for retail. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of our first store opening and to help set the merchandising standards for future store openings.  We are looking for a result-driven retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating excitement around our brand to closing sales.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features

• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries

• “Go the extra mile” to drive sales

• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas

• Actively seek out customers in store

• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options

• Process POS (point of sale) purchases

• Cross sell products

• Handle returns of merchandise

• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service

• Comply with inventory control procedures

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

• Basic Math skills

• Hands-on experience with POS transactions

• Familiarity with inventory procedures

• Solid communication and interpersonal skills

• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus

• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner

• Availability to work flexible shifts

Physical Requirements and Attendance:

• Ability to work part-time; averaging 10-20 hours per week

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis

• Ability to use all Store equipment

• Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store

• Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop

• Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 lbs

• Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other assigned supplies

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
