Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Clerk

Job Description
- Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment
- Creates required shipping documents and ensures documents are correct
- Assists with a daily review of scheduled shipments and coordinates with Operations Manager to effectively schedule order shipments
- Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
- Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
- Reports damages and inventory discrepancies
- Conducts daily inventory cycle counts and assists in COGI and PA clean up as needed.
- Assists doing Year-End physical inventory
- Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
- Documents and maintains inventory to ensures production are organization and clean
- Ensures the safety policies are followed throughout the warehouse
Qualifications
Work experience: 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

- Ability to deal with confrontational situations in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain business relationships
- Ability to communication effectively both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers
- Excellent and demonstrated organizational skills, ability to multi-task and operate efficiently despite frequent interruptions
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- RF scanners
- MS Office products
- Ability to use copiers and document scanners
- Forklift operator license
