McDonald's New Zealand are on the hunt for an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic marketing professional, who is willing to relocate to NZ to join and lead the high performing team. 

Reporting to the Managing Director of McDonald’s New Zealand, the Director of Marketing will assume a visible and influential leadership role as a key member of the Country Leadership Team, pivotal to the continued expansion of the New Zealand business.

You will be a dynamic, self-directed marketing professional who has experience in developing strong brand, marketing and demand generation strategies with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and deliver exceptional execution. You will believe in the power of strong messages and good storytelling to engage audiences, and change hearts and minds. You will help us take the next step as a business and be essential to our aggressive growth strategies!

This appointment is business critical and will take a lead role in shaping the future growth trajectory of McDonald’s. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a marketing team to deliver on strategic growth plans and work collaboratively with key stakeholders including Franchisees, the Australian Marketing team and manage all external supplier partners.  There will be high levels of accountability and given the fast pace and continuous nature of the business, there is a need for flexibility, a "yes, how" approach and ability to work in an integrated manner across the business

Experience Essentials:

You will have significant consumer marketing experience, ideally in retail or FMCG, with a minimum of +15 years experience. Tertiary qualifications are expected. Candidates for this role must be able to illustrate proven results from previous effective marketing campaigns. In return your professionalism and initiative will be well valued and rewarded.

Location:

This role is Auckland based, and regular international travel will be required.
