Could you be our next Senior AR Officer?

An exciting opportunity is currently available for an accounting professional to join the Accounts Receivable team as a Senior AR Officer.  This role will see you mentoring and guiding AR team members and playing a key role in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

  • Manage the Franchisee direct debit process
  • Escalation point for any Franchisee queries regarding monthly charges.
  • Lead and mentor the AR & AP Property team to achieve business goals
  • Manage Lessor payments including standard monthly payment run.
  • Effective resolution of queries/quality of advice
  • Meet monthly and quarterly SOX and compliance requirements
  • Proactively manage aged debt and provision for doubtful debts accordingly.
  • Monthly and quarterly reconciliations and reporting.
  • Review general ledger records for AR finance functions.
  • Mentor the team to ensure they are appropriately trained on procedures.

  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Enjoy working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Be self-motivated and proactive in pre-empting problems and developing solutions.

Desirable experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or relevant equivalent qualifications will be highly advantageous
  • Prior experience mentoring an Accounts Receivable or Assistant Accounting team will be highly regarded but not essential
  • Studying or completed CPA/CA will be highly regarded
