Job Description

The Opportunity:

The Product Development Department seeks Senior Product Development Engineer based in Hai Phong, Vietnam. This position reports directly to the Product Development Manager. In this role, the engineer will support the end-to-end development of new toys and products, collaborating closely with design, engineering, and quality teams... to bring innovative concepts to life.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Develop, design and translate product concepts to defined products/toys, including project management and resolving technical issues.

• Effectively partner with upfront development teams to launch new or resourced products in OEM plants.

• Leading the vendors and OEMs on the processes and product development.

• Involve in debug, pilot & trouble shooting to assure products produced are meeting quality, cost & schedule.

• Involve in process control & production line efficiency, minimize scrap rate and maintain quality.

• Identify value improvement and cost saving opportunities.

 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

• University or Technical College graduate with major in Mechanical, industrial or other relevant engineering disciplines.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in product development / manufacturing sectors, prefer in Toys industry/ household applicant / consumer product / injection plastic.

• Fairly good spoken & listening English. Good written English. Ability to speak basic Mandarin is an advantage.

• Basic PC knowledge & 2D / 3D drafting techniques.

• Positive attitude to continuous personal development.

• Frequent local travelling is required, approx. 1 to 2 hrs. distance away from office.
