Job Description
Near North Customs Brokers is seeking a Full-Time Customs Compliance Analyst. In this role you will provide support to potential new clients, existing clients and internal employee queries with a strong adherence to CBSA regulations.
Shift details are as follows for this position:
Tuesday to Friday 3:00 - 11:30 p.m. / Saturday 8:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Classify and validate products using HS Codes and Tariff Treatments.
Review import documentation for accuracy and customs compliance.
Audit assigned accounts and ensure files are compliant with CBSA regulations.
Create and maintain data bases.
Build and maintain excellent ongoing communication with clients.
Respond in a timely fashion to internal and external inquiries from clients or other departments within the organization such as: Importing, Client Services, Finance and Freight Forwarding.

Qualifications
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
Minimum of 3-5 years rating and customs brokerage experience.
Strong knowledge of customs tariff and regulations.
Excellent communication, organizational and judgement skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, understand deadlines and multi-tasks.
Solid computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, etc.).
Strong attention to detail.
