Strategy Director

  • Full-time

Company Description

Lytics, a next-generation customer data platform, is revolutionizing how companies like Heineken, The Economist, General Mills, Ancestry.com, and other retail, media, consumer goods, banking, and tech brands execute one-to-one marketing programs that their customers welcome. We're the brain behind the “right message, right time, right channel”.  We are driving transformative value for our customers with rapidly increasing demand. We are looking for smart, passionate, and dedicated individuals to grow with us and deliver great value to our customers and company.

Job Description

Lytics is seeking a high-energy marketing Strategy Director who is focused on results and the clients’ success.  You will partner with our enterprise accounts to guide them through the transformation and elevation of their digital marketing strategy, leveraging our market-leading Customer Data Platform (CDP).

You will have primary responsibility to coach your accounts on the best way to implement multi-channel, orchestrated journeys.  You will design the individual account’s custom evolution from their current state to “Marketing 3.0,” where the customer, not the message, sits at the center.  You will lead on-site workshops, design high-impact customer journeys, and help the client demonstrate the added value of their partnership with Lytics. You will also represent Lytics to the broader market, authoring thought-leadership pieces, assisting during pre-sales, and speaking at conferences.

The measure of your success will be how well your clients achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with clients to assess their current marketing ecosystem and design their path forward with Lytics

  • Help new and existing clients to best understand their true business requirements

  • Teach clients how to design impactful and effective multi-channel customer journeys

  • Coach clients on emerging best-practices and the new basics of marketing

  • Develop playbooks and roadmaps for common client journeys and evangelize throughout Lytics

  • Remain current on latest industry trends and research to share with clients, continually striving to remain a trusted partner

  • Identifying opportunities for Lytics to deepen its relationship with clients and expand contract

  • Serve as resource, expert, and guide for other Lytics teams, both client-facing and technical

Qualifications

  • High level of personal organization, personal accountability, and follow-through

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Versatile and adaptable in a complex and fast-paced market

  • 10+ years prior experience in a variety of digital marketing roles between consulting, client-side, and with a digital marketing agency

  • Strong understanding of marketing technologies, reporting & analytics, predictive data science, and organizational transformation

  • Able to explain the digital marketing landscape and associated business implications in a way that connects with both novice and expert

  • Build strong partnerships with clients and colleagues through empathy, creativity, and conflict resolution

  • Loves to demonstrate the link between marketing activations to bottom-line financial results

  • Adept at creating educational thought-leadership materials which resonate and engage

  • MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
