Job Description

As Customer Marketing Manager you will be a pioneer in customer advocacy, a discipline we’ve identified as a strategic necessity as a customer-focused company. Your mission will be to build a community of fanatic Lytics advocates by engaging and delighting customers through marketing campaigns, direct outreach and relationship building. This position directly benefits our revenue growth efforts by increasing referrals, testimonials, references, loyalty and retention. If you enjoy flexing your creative marketing and communication skills to engage and motivate customer advocates, you will love this position.  Candidates with enterprise software marketing experience, a passion for winning and a team-first attitude are strongly desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Help define and implement overall customer advocacy strategy, in partnership with executive leadership

  • Develop repeatable customer engagement and communication programs, such as web-based customer spotlights, webinars and in-person workshops

  • Create and lead execution of customer-focused user groups, customer appreciation events and customer advisory boards

  • Build rapport with customers to increase referrals, testimonials, references as well as to understand customer use cases and identify expansion opportunities

  • Work closely with Customer Success to continually identify and recruit new customer advocates for the programs you develop

  • Manage a library of up-to-date customer anecdotes, quotes and success stories

  • Collaborate across the company but also within Marketing - including with Field Marketing for a variety of events, Demand Gen for helping ideate on campaigns and speaking opportunities, the Content team for creating top-notch assets and Product Marketing to assist with win-loss analysis and competitive intelligence gathering

  • Provide product feedback given by advocates to the Product Management team

Qualifications

  • 5 years of B2B, software/SaaS marketing experience
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drove customer advocacy and proof of overall customer satisfaction for a product/service

  • Demonstrated experience with direct customer outreach, VoC interviews and discussions

  • Previous Customer Service, Customer Success, or Account Management experience a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience interacting with customers at technical, non-technical, professional and executive levels

  • Great storytelling that convinces through exceptional written copy

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools including CRM and marketing automation

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on communications, marketing, and business
