Lucid Dreams is looking for an experienced Senior/Lead Frontend Developer to oversee an ambitious design team that combines engaging gameplay with blockchain technology and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

As a Senior/Lead Frontend Developer, you will work on a charter to solve high level business challenges with a collaborative, cross functional team. Your curiosity will serve you well in asking the right questions to understand the customer problems we're solving. Your ability to learn quickly and write quality software will serve you well in delivering value to our customers incrementally. Responsibilities

• Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
• Review project estimates and assess impact of project risks
• Produce prototypes and effectively articulate design decisions.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, troubleshoot problems, and improve product quality.
• Identifying web-based user interactions.
• Serve as “hands-on” escalation point to identify and suggest approaches to resolve project issues
• Lead, structure, and scope a unified framework and code library
• Effectively identifies and communicates project scope, complexity, and expectations across functions (e.g., Product, Design, Documentation)

• 5+ yrs. of professional software engineering experience
• Expertise with HTML/HTML5, CSS and preprocessors such as SASS, LESS
• Experience with React.js and/or Vue.js
• Experience with user interface design and browser-based debugging
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Computer Science or closely related degree
• Experience mentoring junior developers
• Passion for professional self-improvement (anxious to explore new territory)
• Working knowledge of web optimization strategies
• Working knowledge with building back-end applications using Node.js
• Ability to work in full stack teams and experience with integrating front-end code within application frameworks such as NodeJS Java
• Familiarity with development methods and processes such as Agile
