Job Description

Overall purpose:

Louis Dreyfus Company Polska Sp. z o.o. is looking for commercial representatives across Poland (South-West, North-West, Warmian-Masurian regions) to support business expansion. We are seeking highly motivated individuals ready to ensure continuity of supply and optimize the utilization of grain elevators and port storage facilities.
The field-based commercial representative will be primarily responsible for managing relationships and maintaining regular contact with key agricultural producers and trading companies within the assigned region.

 

Your main accountabilities:

  • Actively acquiring new clients (primarily agricultural producers) and conducting commercial negotiations,
  • Monitoring and proactively reporting on local market conditions,
  • Maintaining proactive communication with other company departments to ensure efficient contract execution,
  • Promoting and strengthening the Louis Dreyfus Company Polska Sp. z o.o. brand in the field,
  • Developing and preparing commercial offers,
  • Building long-term relationships with local farmers and trading companies,
  • Regularly visiting clients at their place of business within the assigned territory,
  • Maintaining a register of suppliers.

 

Qualifications

Your profile:
 

Knowledge and Experience:
•    3+ years of commercial experience in the grain trade or other relevant commodity trading experience

Knowledge and Skills:
•    Good negotiating skills and results orientation
•    Good analytical skills and the ability to select relevant  information from a flow of information (distinction between main and side issues)
•    Understanding the developments in and the application of the grain market in the country
•    Detail-oriented
•    Proficiency with MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint
•    Good verbal and written communication skills

Education:
•    Higher education/Bachelor's degree

Languages:
•    Polish – native
•    English – upper-interm (preferable)

Technical/Functional skills:
•    Understanding of the supply and demand relationship
•    Strong grasp of the Polish Agricultural market i.e., participants in it, stakeholders
•    Strong numerical skills

Other skills and competencies:
•    Eager to grow personally and professionally
•    Open for changes, readiness to accept a different point of view
•    Team player

Oczekujemy silnie zmotywowanych pracowników gotowych do zapewnienia ciągłości dostaw oraz efektywnego wykorzystania elewatorów zbożowych jak i magazynów w portach.  Przedstawiciel handlowy w terenie będzie odpowiedzialny głównie za kontakt i obsługę relacji z kluczowymi producentami rolnymi oraz firmami handlowymi z danego regionu.

 

Obowiązki:

  1. Aktywne pozyskiwanie nowych klientów (głównie producentów rolnych) oraz prowadzenie negocjacji handlowych
  2. Bieżące śledzenie oraz aktywne raportowanie sytuacji na rynku lokalnym
  3. Proaktywna komunikacja z innymi działami firmy w celu utrzymania efektywności realizacji umów
  4. Budowanie marki Louis Dreyfus Company Polska Sp. z o.o. w terenie
  5. Opracowywanie i przygotowywanie ofert handlowych,
  6. Budowanie trwałych relacji z lokalnymi rolnikami, firmami handlowymi
  7. Regularne odwiedzanie klientów w miejscu ich działalności (w obrębie ustalonego obszaru)
  8. Prowadzenie rejestru dostawców
