Job Description
Main accountabilities (Main Responsibilities):
Job coverage: LDC Ukraine
Controlling and analysis:
- Maintenance of reporting and budgeting processes, work on reporting processes improvement;
- Analysis of margins and costs, cost efficiency, HC, CAPEX – monthly, quarterly;
- Monitoring of the dynamics of main Balance sheet and P&L items (AR, AP, loans ageing; Sales and production costs changes, G&A changes);
- Communication with local and regional accounting for explanations of PL and BS items;
- Communication with local and regional commercial team for explanations of weekly managerial PL;
- Continuous monitoring of accounting & internal reporting systems usage effectiveness for reporting and budgeting purposes, creation of special tasks for IT developers.
Reporting and budgeting:
- Weekly, Monthly, quarterly, annual preparation of managerial reports under company group standards according to the group deadlines, on a basis of consolidated data;
- Input of managerial reports into corporate reporting software;
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations of managerial reports for company group management and a leading role in its discussion;
- Preparation of budget and reforecast in line with company group instructions and deadlines;
- Preparation of managerial reporting for Board meetings (at management request).
Internal control:
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained;
- Identifying key risks areas in a daily activities and reporting it to the management;
- Recommend changes that will improve the company's financial performance and financial controls;
- Develop and document business processes and reporting/accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Communication with internal auditors regarding processes control.
Other:
- MTM Calculation control.
- Weekly position control.
- FX position control.
- Export contracts price control.
- Ad-hoc reports by the management requests.
Knowledge and Experience:
- University degree in appropriate field (Finance, Economics, Business analytics, Math), IFRS or ACCA/CFA professional certificate will be a plus
- Experience in Big4, production or agricultural sector will be a plus
- At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis or managerial reporting
- Good understanding of managerial reporting and budgeting principles
- Fluent English
- IFRS experience
- Proactive and independent
- Readiness to daily routine work including completion of management and IFRS reporting
- Practical knowledge of ERP-systems, accounting and finance reporting systems
