Job Description

We are a national distributor of millwork related products with an immediate full-time opening at our new warehouse location near West 71st and I-465, NW Indianapolis, Indiana. We are looking for an experienced driver/warehouse worker that has substantiated non-CDL straight box truck delivery driver experience.

This opportunity is a Monday-Friday dayshift position.  Those interested must have a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of one year experience making deliveries with a non-CDL straight truck within a 60 mile radius of the downtown Indianapolis.  An acceptable driver's abstract will be required at the time of interview. 

Qualifications

Successful respondents must have warehouse and sit-down and/or reach fork lift experience.  They must also have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 70 pounds on a frequent basis, a clean driving record and proven Customer Relation skills.  This position is estimated to average about 85% driving 15% warehouse.

The successful respondents must be available to work overtime as needed.  Sit-down and/or reach fork lift experience is essential.  Respondents must also have basic computer skills and proven experience with Microsoft Outlook, (open and read email orders), Microsoft Excel, (extract necessary information from spreadsheets, and use UPS WorldShip to administer customer orders).

Hourly new hires can qualify for a 50 cent increase after the successful completion of the 90 day Introduction Period and receive consideration for an additional merit wage increase each year on their hire anniversary date in conjunction with an acceptable Performance Review. Regular fulltime hourly employees also have the opportunity for earn up to $1200.00 in additional bonus compensation per year via our Key Performance Incentive (KPI) program.
