Job Description
Purpose of Work
Ensure continuity of all mechanical, electrical and automation systems in the factory and maintain the highest standards of maintenance, safety, quality and productivity and also to prepare CAPEX plan of the factory in close collaboration with the Production Manager.
Maintenance Management:
- Develop, implement/coordinate and continuously improve preventive maintenance tasks.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and develop permanent solutions.
- Facilitate improvements on maintenance KPI's (MTBF, MTTR, OEA, PCR, etc.).
- Manage outsourced maintenance services through prepared for and lead crisis and emergency scenarios (major breakdowns, power outages, etc.).
Spare Parts and Inventory Management:
- Manage spare part flow and warehouse.
- Implement localization project on spare parts and reduce cost of the unit prices.
Energy Management:
- Lead energy management of the factory.
- Implement energy saving projects related with energy management, efficiency and consumption point optimization.
Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Prepare and follow maintenance budget (spare part and 3rd party budget).
- Lead CAPEX projects and control CAPEX budget.
Project Management:
- Ensure project management stages and carry out correctly (budget preparation, risk assessment, WBS, technical specification, purchasing, implementation, documentation, etc.).
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration:
- Support the realization of activities such as autonomous and predictive maintenance task within the scope of preventive maintenance methodology.
- Collaborate and work with regional and global Maintenance and Investment Teams.
- Encourage a supportive environment for the technical and personal growth of the team.
- Increase the technical knowledge of the Maintenance Team Members.
- Collaborate with other departments production, quality, lean, safety, etc.
- Lead the factory in shutdowns or as an ad-interim in necessary situations.
- Facilitate reaching of regional and global CSR targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical or industrial engineering
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in engineering, preferably min. 2 years of experience in manager role
- Min 3. years of experience as a project or CAPEX engineer
- Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System is a plus
- Technical knowledge on main equipment (boilers, compressors, cooling towers, chillers, packaging machines, separators, motors, pumps, pipelines, valves, measurement instruments, PLC’s, transformers.
- Technical knowledge on machine reliability analyses such as FMECA, ACA, etc.
- Project management certification such as PMP is a plus
- Technical knowledge on predictive maintenance activities (vibration analyses, thermal monitoring, ultrasonic detection, oil analysis, etc.)
- Technical knowledge on the calibration and verification
- Technical knowledge on safety cultures and methods (Machine safety, LOTO, Accident Investigation etc.) Technical knowledge on lean manufacturing cultures and tools (TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
- Technical knowledge on the quality assurance, compliance and control
- Strong team management and good communication skills
- MS office, Microsoft Project, SAP and AutoCAD Microsoft Office
- Clean Class 4 with defensive drivers licence
