Summary: Job Description
This position will be responsible for preforming all data entry for the order processing and tracking of all spares purchase orders as well as providing daily status updates on all open purchase orders.Duties and responsibilities
* Receive purchase orders and enter all data into spreadsheets
* Open sales orders for all purchase orders received in NAV
* Submit quote requests and secure best pricing* Create purchase requisitions and review for accuracy and completion
* Place orders to procure requisitioned items* Reconcile open order report for weekly update meeting with customers and the MFG Planner.
* Answers phones and provides information using customer service skills for internal and external customers
* Provides updates on shipped orders daily Buyer/Planer

Duties and Responsibilities
Use distribution requirements planning (DRP) daily to create replenish purchase orders from our manufacturing site in Geel, Belgium
Liaise with Geel customer service team to ensure smooth flow of material from Europe to US (including PO/SO matching).
Support customer channels group (CCG) customer service by responding appropriately to requests as required.
Within 24 hours, update field sales and customer service team with product availability and expected stock dates when contacted.
Work with US Senior Demand and Supply Planner to maintain appropriate stocking levels (especially for forecasted sales increases from single customers), ensuring high service performance with optimized inventory value.
Run and maintain all site supply chain delivery reports and support root cause analysis for variances to target.
Direct onsite operations team to key products and sales orders to ensure minimal customer delays
Support regulatory requirements (e.g. REACH paperwork) to ensure smooth product flow from supplier to customer
Manage key product (e.g. short shelf life, difficult to ship) stock availability to ensure good quality, finished goods available at all times.
Expedite customer backorders to reduce delays in deliver as much as possible
Input master data modifications as required.
Manage limited stock coding to reduce customer lead times
Involvement with other projects, which utilize the required skills and knowledge, and perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements
Diligent and responsible worker with a keen eye for detail.
Should possess understanding of supply chain replenishment processes.
Ability to work in an organized manner, follow standard operating procedures and consistently meet deadlines.
Excellent communicator, comfortable communicating with people at all levels in the company
IT literate (MS Office) and comfortable working with stock management systems
Proactive in identifying and dealing with issues
Demonstrates initiative and is willing to be flexible

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.
Minimum 1 years business experience in a Procurement / Sourcing /engineering position.
Familiarity with DRP systems
Understand the processes related to supplier consolidation and product transfer initiative
