Job Description

Your New Role

This is a new piece of work with exciting opportunity to shape the project from its inception. Working with spatial data and spatial web services, the role requires you to:

  • Systems analysis and design
  • Development and maintenance of systems engineering documentation and artefacts
  • Participation in development of concept design, systems architecture and multi-system interfaces
  • Technical risk analysis and management
  • Ensure work is undertaken in accordance with the appropriate regulatory framework
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the company's objectives. Your skills in the following areas will be highly valued:

  • Experience in the Geospatial domain is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of systems engineering principles and lifestyle management
  • Experience eliciting and managing requirements
  • A track record of working on complex system projects
  • Ability to work with architects, engineers and other project members and offer strategic advice within agile environments
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills both written and verbal

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and be willing to obtain and hold an Australian Government Security Clearance.
