Job Description

Are you customer focused with a passion for delivering an excellent online user experience? We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join us within our Retail division, on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

You will design, build, and market test design ideas using various methods, including primary market research, design sprints/workshops and Figma UI design. If you’ve a keen eye on improving the online journey for our customers then this could be the ideal next move for you!

    What you'll be doing:

    • Designing and delivering user‑centric interfaces for web and mobile platforms, ensuring seamless experiences across devices
    • Engaging with internal stakeholders, partners, and insight teams to assess customer needs using a best‑in‑class innovation delivery model, applying techniques such as Lean Startup, Design Sprints, and Agile
    • Designing and building prototype UX/UIs for development, market testing, partner demonstration, and internal communication in line with Consumer Duty principles
    • Conducting user research, usability testing, and data‑driven design iterations to optimize customer journeys
    • Collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate complex financial concepts into simple, actionable designs
    • Maintaining and evolving design systems and component libraries in Figma, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms
    • Applying best practices in accessibility and inclusive design to meet regulatory and user needs

    Qualifications

    Who we're looking for:

    • You'll be well versed in tools such as Figma
    • Used to working in Agile and SCRUM delivery teams
    • You’ll also have experience with user testing tools such as UserZoom
    • Experience within financial services, and knowledge of pensions, would be great
    • Deep knowledge and experience of user-centric design principles
    • Knowledge of A/B and/or multivariate testing would be a huge plus!
