We are a UK agri-tech startup with big ambitions. We design solutions that grow high quality crops, anywhere in the world and anytime of the year at the lowest cost to consumers and the environment.
We primarily provide products and services in horticulture lighting and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). Some of our projects include shipping containers converted to strawberry farms and tailored lighting solutions for vertical urban farms. Kroptek also owns pilot farms in France and Canada producing high quality food sustainably using its own technology.
In the past 2 years our group has grown to 30+ employees, serving 100 customers in 12 countries. We are still however in the early stages of our plan and have many hills to climb.
Job Description
The candidate needs an entrepreneurial spirit to join an early stage company in an innovative sector reporting to the CEO.
The mission will comprise a variety of responsibilities including:
- Lead the planning and execution of Marketing and Advertising initiatives from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
- Create and manage content and updates for customer touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support
- Conceptualise and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels including LinkedIn/Twitter/FB, email, the website and printed collateral
- Coordinate and be the point of contact for Marketing initiatives with third parties, event organisers and agents
- Gather and analyse customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
- Participate in the product development process by providing input on customer and market trends
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field from a reputable university
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
- Strong project management and multitasking skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

- Proficiency with Hubspot, Photoshop, Wordpress, MS Excel
