Your Opportunity 

As a Lead Integration Engineer, you’ll develop and execute integration strategies and architectures in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders and lead the delivery of the integration components with zest to implement. Your role will see you: 

  • Designing and implementing integration architectures aligned with business objectives and technology strategies. 
  • Establishing and maintaining integration standards, guidelines, and best practices using the AI tools.  
  • Analysing existing systems to identify integration and optimisation opportunities. 
  • Leading the development and deployment of APIs, middleware, and data pipelines across hybrid environments. 
  • Partnering with business and IT stakeholders to translate integration requirements into scalable technical solutions. 
  • Working closely with developers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver integration initiatives successfully. 
  • Assessing emerging technologies and recommending fit-for-purpose integration tools and platforms. 
  • Ensuring solutions meet scalability, security, and compliance requirements. 
  • Monitoring and optimising integration performance for high availability and reliability. 
  • Resolving integration challenges and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. 
  • Developing and maintaining architecture documentation, technical specifications, and standards. 
  • Supporting teams through guidance, knowledge sharing, and training on integration practices and tools.

Your Skills & Experience 

  • Proven experience as a Lead Integration Engineer or in a similar role. 
  • Strong knowledge of integration platforms, middleware, and API management tools. 
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms Azure, AWS, MuleSoft , Google Cloud, or Oracle Integration Cloud). 
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Node, Typescript, Python, or C#. 
  • Experience with microservices, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern integration patterns. 
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Confident in stakeholder management, with strong communication and influencing skills. 
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams. 
  • Awareness and discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential information. 
  • Experience in technology sales (desirable). 

Preferred: 

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS Solutions Architect, Mulesoft ) 
  • Microsoft Fabric Experience is desirable 
  • Knowledge of APIs, data integration, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
