Job Description
Join a leading restructuring and turnaround team, working at the forefront of complex, high-impact situations. We partner with organisations facing financial and operational challenges to develop creative, pragmatic solutions that stabilise performance, protect value, and deliver outcomes for stakeholders.
Working across diverse industries, no two engagements are the same, offering a dynamic environment where you can apply strategic thinking, commercial judgement and hands-on leadership to solve critical business issues.
Responsibilities:
- As a Director within our Restructuring practice, you will lead and deliver a broad range of engagements, providing strategic advice to corporates, financiers and government bodies. You will play a key role in shaping client outcomes, leading teams, and contributing to the growth of the practice.
- Lead engagement delivery, partnering with senior client stakeholders to design and implement restructuring strategies
- Analyse complex financial and operational data to develop insights and actionable recommendations
- Assess business performance, liquidity and capital structures to inform turnaround plans
- Oversee the implementation of solutions, including asset sales, capital restructurings, and refinancing initiatives
- Drive business development activities, including identifying opportunities, leading pitches, and building client relationships
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Contribute to thought leadership, market positioning, and practice growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in restructuring, transactions, consulting, or broader professional services
- Professionally qualified (CA or CPA)
- Demonstrated experience leading complex engagements and managing senior stakeholder
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes
- Advanced financial analysis and modelling capabilities (strong Excel skills essential)
- Highly developed problem-solving skills, with a structured and analytical approach
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
- Proven leadership capability, including managing teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- High levels of empathy, integrity and professionalism
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development
- Ability to think creatively and align solutions with client objectives
