Job Description

Job Position - Product Delivery Manager

Report to Operations Planning Manager

As a Product Delivery Manager on the Industrial Cranes Team, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the successful execution of new crane fabrication across North America. Your primary responsibilities will include the end-to-end fabrication process, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external fabricators to manage project workload, communicate requirements, and mitigate delays effectively. Strategic scheduling expertise, demonstrated leadership and exceptional communication skills are essential attributes for this role. You will guide and support our fabricators, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications. By fostering internal relationships and driving continuous improvement initiatives, you will contribute to enhancing the overall customer purchasing experience. The Product Delivery Manager role is integral in shaping industry-leading customer experiences and facilitating the achievement of business objectives and strategic plans.

You Will:

· Own and maintain the production schedule for assigned crane fabrication orders, integrating customer requirements, engineering release dates, material and component availability and fabrication capacity

· Translate the backlog into practical production plans, identifying capacity gaps, sequencing conflicts and schedule risks early

· Chair regular production planning and schedule review meetings with fabrication facilities

· Coordinate the timely delivery of drawings, steel, components and other inputs to fabricators

· Escalate shortages or late releases and drive recovery plans to protect the build sequence

· Negotiate fabrication costs and change impacts in the best interest of Konecranes while protecting quality, schedule performance and the customer relationship

· Oversee builder deliverables, including ITPs, FAT requirements, square and span reports, inspection records and closeout documentation

· Drive non-conformance resolution before shipment and confirm that completed work complies with drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and customer commitments.

· Develop schedule recovery options when delays occur, clearly communicate impacts, and secure timely decisions from the appropriate stakeholders.

· Naturally take a collaborative approach, building effective working relationships while maintaining clear ownership, deadlines and escalation paths.

Qualifications

 Qualifications:

· Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing production planning or a closely related role.

· Demonstrated ability to build and control a manufacturing production schedule across multiple concurrent orders, constrained resources and changing priorities.

· Practical knowledge of manufacturing operations, capacity planning, material readiness, production sequencing, milestone management and schedule recovery.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, bills of material and quality documentation.

· Strong proficiency with SAP and Microsoft applications.

· Proven problem-solving, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and escalation-management skills.

The customer experience during the entire order execution phase can serve as a significant competitive advantage.
