Job Description
The Role
Working on an 8/6 FIFO roster, you will play a critical role in maintaining, servicing and repairing overhead cranes and lifting equipment across site operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preventative and corrective maintenance on cranes and lifting equipment
- Detailed inspections across various makes and models
- Fault finding and complex breakdown repairs
- Repairs, modernisations and installations
- Recommending and quoting repair solutions
- Conducting accurate risk assessments before every task
- Presenting safety and service reviews to customers
- Working independently while supporting and mentoring other technicians when required
- Crane experience is highly regarded, but most importantly, you bring strong electrical capability and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
Qualifications
About you
To be successful, you will have:
- A-grade Electrical Licence
- Must be based in Perth
- Willingness to work an 8/6 FIFO roster
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence
- Strong commitment to safety and risk management
- Confidence communicating with customers and team members
- Working at Heights competency
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- You will be a team player who takes pride in your work, communicates professionally and represents the Konecranes and Demag brand with integrity.
