Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery punctuality 95%
- Production Planning & Control (PPC)
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Capacity Planning
- Cross-functional Coordination.
- ERP tool updating and maintenance.
- Maintenance of material master data.
- BOM and Cost Management
Role and Responsibility:
- Prepare and manage production plans and schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Stores, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure timely material availability and smooth production flow.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to achieve production targets.
- Perform material and capacity planning using ERP/MRP systems while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Analyze machine, manpower, and resource capacity.
- Monitor raw material, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and finished goods inventory
- Track production KPIs, prepare planning reports, and drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity and on-time delivery.
- Prioritize production according to delivery commitments.
- Monitor daily production progress against the plan.
- Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and production routing in the ERP system.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and production efficiency.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.
- Prepare daily and monthly production reports.
- Analyze production variances, bottlenecks, and resource utilization.
- Plan fabrication, machining, welding, painting, assembly, and testing activities.
- Coordinate long lead-time items such as motors, gearboxes, wire ropes, electrical panels, and structural steel.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines for EOT cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes, and customized lifting equipment.
Qualifications
Education Required: BE Mechanical / BE Electrical
Professional Experience Required (Max – Min.): 0 to 1 year (Freshers can apply)
Competencies and Skills Required:
- Awareness about ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 requirements.
- Compliance management.
- Communication skills.
Mandatory Systems Knowledge and Tools Usability:
- ERP systems and its working
- ISO
