Job Title: Onboarding Specialist
Location: Remote, WA state-based only
About the Role:
We’re seeking a smart, resourceful, and proactive Onboarding Specialist with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to e-commerce clients. In this role, you will lead the onboarding journey for new brand partners—working cross-functionally to ensure a smooth, strategic launch tailored to the fast-moving needs of consumer brands.
This is not a templated, one-size-fits-all role. You’ll work across departments, manage complex schedules, and guide e-commerce customers through a thoughtful, flexible onboarding experience that sets them up for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new e-commerce customers—serving as their trusted point of contact from kickoff through handoff to account management.
Understand the unique workflows, tools, and expectations of e-commerce brands, customizing onboarding steps accordingly.
Build and manage project timelines, ensuring clear deliverables, dependencies, and follow-through.
Lead and facilitate multi-stakeholder meetings (often with 8+ participants across client and internal teams).
Handle all scheduling and coordination with precision, managing shifting calendars and aligning cross-functional resources.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Tech, and Account Management to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
Identify and remove onboarding blockers, proactively offering solutions and keeping progress on track.
Educate clients on platform capabilities and ensure all integrations, configurations, and operational workflows are aligned to their e-commerce use case.
Track onboarding success metrics, ensure client satisfaction, and deliver clean handoffs to long-term account teams.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
3+ years of onboarding, implementation, or project management experience, ideally in a SaaS, e-commerce, or tech-forward environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex onboarding processes for e-commerce or consumer product clients.
Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, and love solving for the unexpected.
Experience coordinating large meetings, managing multiple stakeholders, and navigating internal and external dynamics with organizational savvy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills—you’re clear, concise, and confident.
Experience with project management and scheduling tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Notion, Calendly).
Familiarity with the e-commerce ecosystem (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, 3PLs, OMS/WMS tools) is a strong plus.
