Job Description

Kobai is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our sales team. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying, and qualifying new business opportunities, closing sales deals, and running proof-of-concept (POC) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a proven track record of running successful POCs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies and plans
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales process
  • Run POC projects to demonstrate the value and feasibility of our products to potential customers
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and create proposals and quotes for customers
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and drive product improvements
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements to provide expert knowledge and advice to customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience or experience leading customer software implementations in a technical or engineering field
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of relevant products and industries
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience running successful POCs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
