Job Description

The Senior Platform Developer leads the development of responsive, accessible digital experiences across client websites and platform ecosystems. This role partners with developers, designers, QA, and cross-functional delivery teams to architect, build, and optimize CMS-driven web experiences. The role focuses on modern front-end development, API integrations, analytics implementation, technical quality, and hands-on leadership across supported platforms and browsers.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain modular front-end solutions in Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Drupal, and related CMS platforms, translating design systems into responsive HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript deliverables.
  • Lead development of website features using JavaScript ES6+, React, and REST or GraphQL integrations, partnering with designers, QA, and delivery teams to ship scalable production-ready solutions.
  • Refactor legacy implementations, troubleshoot complex defects, and drive performance improvements through browser debugging, Lighthouse audits, code splitting, lazy loading, and cross-browser testing.
  • Implement analytics and form functionality across platforms, including Adobe data layer, Google Tag Manager, Floodlight, payload validation, and structured parsing logic.
  • Guide technical solutioning, documentation, estimation, and code review processes in Jira, Confluence, and GitHub, while mentoring junior developers and supporting delivery decisions with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of professional front-end or platform development experience delivering production websites or applications using JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining components in at least one enterprise CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, or Drupal, with demonstrated ownership of templating, authoring workflows, and release-ready implementations.
  • Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs, including data fetching, transformation, caching, and front-end rendering, with examples of shipped features or reusable component libraries.
  • Demonstrated ability to debug, optimize, and review front-end code using browser developer tools, Git-based workflows, pull requests, and web performance tools such as Lighthouse.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1+ and SEO best practices, with evidence of applying these standards in live digital experiences and collaborating with QA or stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Experience contributing to technical planning, solution reviews, or mentoring junior developers, with examples of leading implementation decisions or improving delivery quality.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Experience using React in production environments, including component architecture, state handling, and maintainable front-end patterns across multi-page or CMS-driven implementations.
  • Experience with Next.js or Gatsby, including static site generation, server-side rendering, or incremental build patterns in client or product work.
  • Exposure to TypeScript, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Webpack, Vite, or Babel in team-based development environments.
  • Experience with analytics tagging, cloud or container tooling, or design collaboration platforms such as Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop to support delivery.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to translate BRDs or technical requirements into documented implementation approaches, estimates, and delivery recommendations.
