Job description:
Our client is seeking a Temporary Attorney to join our legal team in support of our Cell & Gene Technologies (CGT) platform. This role provides general legal counsel with a focus on complex commercial agreements, compliance, and day-to-day operational matters for a dynamic, global biotechnology organization.
Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate complex agreements including:
  • Manufacturing services agreements.
  • Process development agreements.
  • Pharmaceutical quality agreements.
  • Licensing and service-related statements of work.
• Advise on transactional, quality, marketing, and operational legal issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the CGT platform.
• Support senior legal leadership, reporting to a Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies.
• Provide high-quality, timely legal guidance on a range of corporate and commercial matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) and licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial transactional/contracting experience from an Am Law 200. law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Background in life sciences or pharmaceuticals strongly preferred.

• Hybrid—Monday and Wednesday in office in Morristown, NJ.
