Company Description

A large financial services firm is seeking a seasoned Technical Director that will be responsible for identifying, defining, and prescribing functional and technical solutions to support complex business process and enterprise architecture requirements.  

My client has been using a home grown CRM for 16 years, and needs someone with the skills to migrate this to Salesforce.  You will need to understand the whole platform, product and the latest and greatest--essentially own the road map and become the enterprise architect.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of salesforce.com industry experience, including implementation experience with one or more common enterprise software solutions (e.g. CRM) 
  • Understands various aspects of integration and data replication, specifically: message-based replication, MQ, ESB concepts, consuming web services (SOAP, REST), has hands-on experience architecting and supporting large-batch, micro-batch, and pub/sub models, understands error handling aspects and techniques (poison queues, staging tables, etc.) 
  • Can recommend technique based on salesforce.com capability and data throughput/volumes requirements, understands how replication tools deployed to high availability cluster impact communications withsalesforce.com. 
  • In addition to Visual Force, experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including JS libraries like JQuery and AngularJS), and calling web services from JavaScript (not just what’s in salesforce.com Ajax toolkit, but standard web techniques too), etc. 
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) implementations 
    Understands iFrame, has experience framing in external applications into salesforce.com and salesforce. common to external applications, understands how to set up secure communications with framed-in application. 
  • Understands limitations of salesforce.com and can suggest/has experience with complementary products. 
  • Experience with large enterprise implementations (ideally in financial services with multiple different user groups and a high user base). 
  • Prior background with large scale CRM related migrations and ability to provide advice on what functionality should migrate and best approach. 


Preferred skills but not required:

  • Experience with Salesforce.com Canvas is a plus 
  • Has experience integrating Salesforce.com access controls with external authentication/authorization providers.
