Our Outside School Hours Care service, Brookfield State School Helping Hands, is looking for a passionate Casual Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children. 

You'll work Monday to Friday in split shifts across our programs:

☀️ Rise then Shine Program – Morning shifts (6:30am - 9:00am)
🎒 Stay and Play Program – Afternoon shifts (2:50pm – 6:00pm)
🏖️ Holiday HQ Program – Extra hours available during school holidays (6:30am – 6:00pm)

About the role

Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

• Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
• Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

✔️ Strong and clear communication
✔️ Team player with a desire to become a service leader
✔️ Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
