Job Description
As a Project Manager at SAPCARE you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, administrators, IT professionals, and external stakeholders, to define project requirements, establish project plans, and coordinate resources to achieve project goals. Your leadership skills, healthcare expertise, and project management experience will be essential in this role.
- Lead the planning and execution of healthcare projects, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and budget targets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate resources, including internal staff, consultants, vendors, and external partners, to ensure that project tasks are completed on time and according to specifications.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status meetings, and project reviews, to communicate project updates, address issues, and solicit feedback from stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, track project expenses, and prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts to monitor project costs and ensure financial accountability.
- Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to implement new processes, workflows, and technologies to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and organizational performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and best practices in healthcare project management, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks and ensure patient safety.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and post-implementation reviews, to ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of project activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects in healthcare settings, such as hospitals, clinics, or healthcare organizations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on patient safety, quality improvement, and care delivery.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead project teams, motivate team members, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Asana.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care, with a passion for improving healthcare outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.
- Willingness to travel to different healthcare facilities and work flexible hours to accommodate project requirements.
