We assist travellers in making smarter travel decisions by leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science-led innovations on our OTA platforms, comprising our websites and mobile applications.

Our OTA platforms allow travellers to book train tickets, flight tickets, bus tickets, hotels and cabs, while providing travel utility tools and services developed using in-house proprietary algorithms and crowd-sourced information, including train PNR status and confirmation predictions, train seat availability alerts, train running status updates and delay predictions, flight status updates, bus running status, pricing and availability alerts, deal discovery, destination content, personalized recommendations, instant fare alerts and automated customer support services.

Job Description:

As a Lead UI developer, you will be involved in all aspects of development, playing a critical role in the design, planning, development, and deployment and help develop best practices for future development. You will be working closely with the Tech, Design and Quality teams to build and launch the product.

Role & Responsibility :

• Code, develop, design and architect features related to the existing application. We expect you to own modules end to end and take pride in the work products you ship

• Design, implement and maintain highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed server software applications

• Deliver across the entire app life cycle: design, build, deploy, test, release and support

• Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualise, build, test and release products

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency

• Develop workflow/solution which gets reused across line of business.

Must have :

• Advanced Javascript,  NodeJs, CSS3, HTML5, DOM Concepts

• JS design patterns and concepts of OOPS and functional programming in JS

• Practical working knowledge of front-end build tools like Vite, Webpack or Rspack, etc.

• Eye for details & experience with design system

• JavaScript testing using vitest, mocha, chai, sinon or similar tools

• Knowledge regarding Frontend performance improvements in the most common browsers, cross-browser compatibility issues

• Sense for appeal & aesthetics from a usability perspective

• Some UI portfolio or samples will be required

• Ai assisted development

• BE/BTech from premier engineering colleges (IITs/NITs/IIIT/DCE - CSE)

• 6+ years of Javascript/HTML development

• Any experience with internet companies or the travel industry will be a plus

Good to have

• Experience with full stack development in any language

• Knowledge about latest JS frameworks  and libraries like React or any frameworks like react router, tanstack or NextJs

• knowledge of agent skills & prompting techniques

• Some experience with Java web frameworks like JSF/Struts/Spring is desirable
