Job Description

Role:

As a Media Sales Manager, You will be responsible to identify, develop and execute media sales strategies, with the goal of driving significant media revenues. You will be involved in executing Ad sales initiatives for the platform, its monetization and achieving Ad sales revenue targets. You will also play a significant role in key client development strategies and new business development. This is a full time position to be based out of Gurgaon and the person will be reporting to Vice President - Media Sales

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage and scale a revenue pipeline with advertisers, online ad networks agencies, business partners and maintain a minimum threshold of Ad Sales revenue

  • Create aggressive sales pitch, seal new business and also make sure that the delivery is being met to clients, responsible for the end-to-end sales process.

  • Effective sales planning based on the time of the year to make sure that the inventory is fully utilized and maximize ROI

  • Apart from new business, the role includes account development to have long term business association with clients.

  • Develop and maintain a prospecting / targeting system, implement it to provide weekly/monthly pipeline reporting to the management team 

  • Formulate and implement innovative Advertising packages that maximizes the revenue opportunities with brands and agencies to rapidly expand the business

  • Drive results in a fast paced, resource-conscious environment with a creative style and a strong vision.

Qualifications

 

  • At least a Bachelor / Masters degree in Sales & Marketing  preferably from a top B- School OR Equivalent experience.

  • 5-7 years of experience in online media sales with excellent relations with clients and agencies in NCR region

  • Excellent communication skills

An ability to identify & solve new business opportunities through ideation of new products. 

  • Strong media Sales experience with proven track record of achieving media sales revenue for the organization

  • Genuine passion for sales, excellent media relations and understanding of the online media market. 

  • Strong understanding of the Internet media space, search engines, online advertising players and related business models

  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally 

  • The ability to work under pressure meet targets and have exceptional time management skills and should be good with numbers
