Are you a detail oriented, motivated individual with an IT organization looking to continue to grow your skills around project management?  

In this exciting position as a IT Project Manager you will be responsible for monitoring, reporting and following up on the quality and status of the various IT projects, including schedule, issues, risks, financials and scorecards on a daily basis. The Project Manager is accountable for maintaining these processes according to IT processes and company policies.

Addtional responsibilities include:

• Facilitate that all applicable processes and controls are in place for assigned projects, and communicates on a regular basis to project stakeholders and leadership.
• Works directly with project team members to call out risks and issues, escalating issues and risks as needed, and remediate intra-project conflicts.
• Responsible for maintaining the project team tools including setup, access requests and quality of the content, including SharePoint and the testing management tool.
• Responsible for coordinating the process for contracting with third parties, to include creation of statements of work, purchase requisitions, payment of invoices and update of the forecast.
• Support Project Managers to develop, lead and manage the project team using ITT IT standards, practices and policies for Project methodology and Governance to manage project scope, resources, budget, schedule and scope while maintaining performance and quality.
• Assesses, identifies issues, risks via collaboration with project team and stakeholders to develop action plans and updates to project plan
• Primarily responsible for aligning team members to use IT project management processes and tools, including standardization and communication of program work products, deliverables, and other content.
• Understands project management principles and enables building and maintaining of a solid project plan with a firm foundation to iterate from, identify priority issues, and effectively highlighting issues and risks.

Experience:

• 1-5 years of experience managing cross-functional project teams 

Skills / Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of PMI project management standards and practices for contemporary and agile project management
• Utilization of principles and practices for lean and agile project management and development management

Familiar with accounting practices pertaining to the handling of project financials, i.e. Expense / Capital determination, ROI, and EVA; maintains accurate
