Job Description

THIS ROLE

The Loan Servicing Officer, Residential & ABS, is a back-office loan servicing role based in our Manila office. The Loan Servicing Officer is responsible for providing excellent loan servicing support to borrowers and lenders for a variety of asset classes and products, ensuring all requests are managed within agreed turnaround times. This is achieved through strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, strong written customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • You'll support Sydney-based Loan Servicing Officers with arrears management, including issuing communications, SMS notifications, and coordinating direct debit recollections in line with established processes.
  • You'll provide exceptional customer service and handle borrower, broker, and lender inquiries through timely and professional written communications.
  • You'll maintain and update loan accounts by processing settlements, variations, repayments, interest rate changes, valuations, account maintenance requests, direct debit updates, term extensions, and redraws.
  • You'll generate loan-related documents and process operational transactions, including loan statements, payout figures, direct debit/redraw files, and daily bank reconciliation activities.
  • You'll ensure compliance with SLAs, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures, while supporting incident reporting, completing required training, and undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

  • You have experience in loan servicing, banking operations, or financial services, with knowledge of settlements, repayments, account maintenance, direct debits, and redraws.
  • You possess strong written communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively support borrowers, brokers, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy when processing transactions, maintaining loan records, completing reconciliations, and generating servicing documents.
  • You can manage multiple priorities, follow established procedures, meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and handle incident reporting and operational tasks efficiently.
  • You understand and adhere to regulatory, compliance, and policy requirements while maintaining a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
