Job Description

As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a key role within the second line of defence, ensuring the business operates in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll provide expert guidance on complex compliance matters, support the development of a strong compliance culture, and contribute to monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation

What You Will Do

  • You’ll provide expert compliance advice to the business and senior stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for complex second‑line compliance queries
  • You’ll support and implement the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP), conducting reviews, analysing findings, and reporting outcomes to management and Group
  • You’ll ensure the business complies with all applicable regulatory and legal requirements, while promoting strong compliance awareness across the organisation
  • You’ll contribute to audits, regulatory interactions, and internal training initiatives, keeping your knowledge up to date and supporting continuous improvement
  • You’ll collaborate across teams to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring effective governance and high‑quality delivery in a fast‑paced environment

Qualifications

About You 

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ideally in Law or a related field), and a compliance qualification (e.g. CCP or equivalent) is a strong advantage
  • You bring robust experience in a similar compliance role within an international or financial services environment
  • You have strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, particularly in areas such as CDD/AML, and are confident applying them in practice
  • You are a proactive and solutions‑oriented professional, with excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing priorities, engaging stakeholders, and contributing to a collaborative and high‑performing team culture
