Job Description
- Support the ICSS & Instrument Lead during detailed design and procurement.
- Supervise EPC Contractor’s ICSS and instrumentation engineering activities.
- Review engineering documents, P&IDs, instruments, sizing, hook-ups, layouts and cabling.
- Manage discipline interfaces with Process, Electrical, HVAC, Safety and other packages.
- Review technical queries, design changes and contractor deliverables.
- Monitor ICSS purchase order execution and participate in vendor visits, pre-FATs and FATs.
- Support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, HSE requirements and applicable codes.
- Report technical issues, progress and risks, and propose mitigation measures.
Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer / Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Automation or Process Control.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience, with strong field instrumentation expertise.
- Proven Oil & Gas experience, including operating/control philosophy, ESD and F&G systems.
- Experience with FPSO projects and EPC Contractor supervision preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
- Fluent English; French is an advantage.
- Willingness to work internationally and undertake frequent offshore/site missions.
