Job Description

  • Support the ICSS & Instrument Lead during detailed design and procurement.
  • Supervise EPC Contractor’s ICSS and instrumentation engineering activities.
  • Review engineering documents, P&IDs, instruments, sizing, hook-ups, layouts and cabling.
  • Manage discipline interfaces with Process, Electrical, HVAC, Safety and other packages.
  • Review technical queries, design changes and contractor deliverables.
  • Monitor ICSS purchase order execution and participate in vendor visits, pre-FATs and FATs.
  • Support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, HSE requirements and applicable codes.
  • Report technical issues, progress and risks, and propose mitigation measures.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Engineer / Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Automation or Process Control.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience, with strong field instrumentation expertise.
  • Proven Oil & Gas experience, including operating/control philosophy, ESD and F&G systems.
  • Experience with FPSO projects and EPC Contractor supervision preferred.
  • Strong communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent English; French is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work internationally and undertake frequent offshore/site missions.
