IOTA Group, a leading Swiss international technical consulting firm, is seeking a qualified Site camp coordinator to support projects for one of its clients in Iraq.

Our client is a global multi-energy company engaged in the production and supply of energy worldwide, with a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and responsible operations.

The project combines upstream oil and gas development, gas processing and utilization, seawater treatment for reservoir pressure maintenance, and utility-scale solar power generation.

The development includes a major full-field expansion with extensive drilling and new processing facilities, delivered in a complex operating environment with strict HSE requirements, strong focus on safety culture, interface management, cost efficiency, and local content development.

Job Description

Scope of Work

Camp Operations & Governance

  • Ensure all camp infrastructure, facilities, and services comply with COMPANY requirements and are fully documented.

  • Maintain effective COMPANY-level oversight of all camp operations.

  • Ensure seamless monitoring of CONTRACTOR item management at site.

  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant reporting to upper management.

  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior with respect to H3SE standards, stakeholder engagement, and ethical conduct.

  • Observe and strictly enforce confidentiality in the performance of duties.

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Ensure all camp-related activities (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) are implemented in full compliance with COMPANY standards.

  • Ensure the implementation of camp rules, emergency and security plans, drills, and induction processes for all residents and staff.

  • Coordinate with the H2SE focal point to conduct planned and spot hygiene inspections.

  • Promote excellence in waste management through regular inspections, audits, and close coordination with the H2SE team.

Infrastructure & Service Management

  • Review CONTRACTOR and Supplier organizations to verify adequacy, effectiveness, and compliance with contractual and operational requirements.

  • Ensure CONTRACTOR manpower is sufficient, competent, and appropriately qualified.

  • Witness CONTRACTOR audits of suppliers when required.

  • Coordinate with the H2SE Superintendent to monitor and audit compliance with health, hygiene, and cleanliness standards, particularly for catering and medical facilities.

  • Review and validate reports, records, and deliverables issued by the CONTRACTOR, approving on behalf of COMPANY when required.

  • Monitor camp service performance and establish KPIs to ensure CONTRACTOR compliance with:

    • Building and equipment maintenance,

    • Cleanliness and hygiene standards,

    • Availability and reliability of essential services (water, electricity, internet).

CONTRACTOR Materials & Item Management

  • Ensure effective follow-up and monitoring of CONTRACTOR items related to delivery, receipt, storage, and preservation at site.

  • Coordinate with Construction and QC Superintendents to:

    • Verify delivery status and documentation compliance,

    • Supervise storage and preservation conditions to prevent deterioration,

    • Ensure full traceability of equipment from receipt through installation.

Team & Interface Coordination

  • Ensure resources are aligned with operational needs and COMPANY standards.

  • Coordinate with service providers and internal teams to optimize camp operations and service delivery.

Administrative & Reporting Management

  • Ensure booking and accommodation procedures for COMPANY personnel are implemented and followed.

  • Maintain accurate records, including room occupancy, incidents, and service logs.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on camp operations and occupancy.

  • Support Project Control in managing camp services budgets for COMPANY.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to site management as required.

Communication & Resident Satisfaction

  • Track, monitor, and ensure timely resolution of resident complaints and issues.

  • Maintain a positive living environment and foster constructive relationships among residents.

  • Ensure grievances are promptly communicated to the CONTRACTOR’s Social Department and COMPANY’s CIRC (Community & Industrial Relations Coordinator), maintaining continuous coordination with service providers.

Qualifications

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Management, Facility Management, Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in camp or facility management, preferably within Oil & Gas or large-scale industrial projects.

  • Strong understanding of HSSE standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices.

  • Proven experience in team coordination, contractor supervision, and resource management.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications; familiarity with camp management systems/software is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of procedures and standards is considered a strong asset.

Other Skills/Competencies

  • Ability to adapt and effectively represent the company in discussions and meetings with CONTRACTORs, Partners, and Authorities.

  • Strong commitment to monitoring and enforcing Environmental, Social Performance, and Security requirements as critical components of site project execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams, providing strong leadership, sound organization, and performance in multicultural and international environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and maintain a results-oriented mindset.

  • High level of dedication and the ability to perform effectively under demanding and time-sensitive conditions.

▪ Place of mobilization: Iraq

▪ Status (resident / rotation): rotation 4x4
