Job Description

• Commissioning Responsibility: Overseeing the commissioning of systems and subsystems during preparation and execution phase for LNG Train Cold End and LNG Storage, ensuring they are handed over to Operations in good condition.

• Coordination: Working closely with Engineering, Contracting, Procurement, Construction, and Operations to ensure progress and achieve final RFSU (Ready for Start-Up) safely and on schedule.

• Engineering Phase: Actively participating in developing commissioning engineering deliverables and coordinating with all involved parties to prepare for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

• Site Supervision: Supervising commissioning at site and managing interfaces between contractors.

• Coordination for Safety and Schedule: Ensuring safe and on-schedule engineering and execution by coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and company project departments.

• Asset Characteristics: Cold End of the Train, LNG Run-down Lines and LNG Storage.

• Supervision: No company personnel under direct supervision

Activities : 

• Contract Accomplishment: Ensuring the contractor meets all contract requirements for commissioning and smooth handover of the Cold End of the Train, LNG Run-down Lines and LNG Storage to Operations.

• Preparation and Scheduling: Supervising the preparation and scheduling of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to achieve safe and on-schedule MC (Mechanical Completion), RFSU and beyond toward RFL (Ready for Loading).

• Project Specification Compliance: Ensuring facilities are built to project specifications.

• Coordination with Operations: Coordinate witnessing of activities with operations personnel and completing remaining commissioning scope of work after hydrocarbon introduction under SIMOPS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of higher education in process Engineering or equivalent with international standard solid experience. 
  • Knowledge of APCI LNG Process and LNG Tanks
  • Min 15 years broad experience in onshore/ offshore projects
  • Min 10 years in a supervisory role, supervising five individuals or more
  • Min 10 years documented experience in commissioning of Control and Instrumentation, with a min 5 years in senior roles

  • Starting date : July 2026
  • Duration : 2 years in Milan (resident), then 2 years in Mozambique in rotation
